The first lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo Addo visited the Adentan Constituency on September 29, 2020. As part of her visit to the area to engage them towards the upcoming December 7 elections, she visited the market women at Adentan market to engage with them. She also went to frafraha to make some donations.
The first lady also inspected the road networks and other finished and ongoing projects within the Adentan Constituency. From there she met with party supporters and members within the community at Ogbojo market where she interacted with the market women at ogbojo.
Many party leaders were present during her meeting with the people. The Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Yaw Boabeng Asamoa had the opportunity to engage with members present to remind them of his plans for the constituency and the progress made so far.
The Municipal Chief Executive for the area, Mr. Nii Noi was also present and interacted with the people.
Representative of the Women’s Wing during a radio discussion on Ghlife Radio – ghlifetv.com mentioned that members present at the meeting were informed about the progress of the municipality and the award the area has attained. According to the Women’s Wing, the Adenta area was place 6th in Ghana and 2nd in Greater Accra which shows how impressive the area has progressed over the period of time.
The group further encouraged the general public to appreciate the good work of the NPP within the area hence the need to vote for the sitting president in the upcoming elections.
The group mentioned the completed road networks, availability of street lights amongst other that the MP has helped to implement in the area. They further explained that governance is a gradual process hence the need to support the party.
